Going to the Ball: The Spirit of ’42. Celebrating the Guild that never was

Avenham Park was transported back to the Guild that never was. In 1942 Preston Guild was cancelled due to World War 2. In a beautifully set dressed pop-up ballroom in Avenham Park, 1942 is re imagined.
Dance teacher Julie Brown, helped re-create the packed dance floors of the 1930s and 40s
