A photography exhibition showing how areas of Preston have changed over the decades is moving to a new venue.
AdvertisementThe Preston Now and Then show, put together by local photographer Bernie Blackburn, will take up residence in the Avenham Park Pavillion today.
Bernie’s work shows archive photos cut together with photos of the same spot in the modern day to give an idea of how much the city has, or hasn’t in some cases, changed.
Up until now the exhibition, which is partly sponsored by Blog Preston, has been housed in St George’s Shopping Centre and drawn positive comments from visitors.
Over 300 comments have been left, a few of which we have featured below.
Bernie is also offering two images to give away in a prize draw. None of the photos in the exhibition are on sale.
To be in with a chance of winning one of the images, just visit the exhibition and leave a comment.
