The 90-minute sessions take place in the Spiegel Tent in Miller Park from Monday 3 September.
Nick Park is first up on the Monday, Lemn Sissay on the Tuesday and Jeanette Winterson on the Wednesday.
Tickets are £6-9 in advance, concessions are £5-7. On the door tickets are £7-£10. Tickets can be bought at the Guild Hall box office or on the Preston Guild Hall website.
