A new website set up to showcase the creative talents of Preston has been launched.

Left in Preston blog will show off the best stories, poems or artistic photos by Preston residents.

Founder of the site, Kirsty Higginson, said: “Preston is already a bustling city full of talent and creative minds alike.

“In the year of the Preston Guild 2012, I thought it would be a fantastic opportunity to showcase some of that talent in
and around the city.”

Higginson says if the blog proves popular they may ask for a weekly or monthly theme for contributor to take up.
