Those nominated should be long-term residents of the city and colourful characters, according to Richards.

He said: “100 Guild Faces is an exciting, historical project that will celebrate the diversity of the city of Preston by preserving a record of its faces during the unique once every 20 year Guild celebrations.”

The photos will be displayed in the St George’s Shopping Centre during the Guild month of september.
