Dragon boats take over the Marina for a race

The 20th Riversway Festival took place over the weekend of July 20-22 and attracted thousands of visitors down to the Docks.

Live music, local food and the chance to see HMS Charger adopted by the city were just some of the sights and events.

Plus a spectacular fireworks display lit up the Marina on Saturday evening.

Here Tony Worrall shows off a collection of photos from the weekend, while below Paul Melling has a few candid shots.

If that’s not enough, Bernie Blackburn of Preston Now & Then fame was also down at the Docks to snap the goings on.
