Preston’s history fanatics are being urged to submit their ideas for a special Guild game.
AdvertisementThe Guild Key will be a treasure hunt involving challenging and puzzling Preston-related questions.
It will be an interactive trail launching in June and aims to mix the Guild’s heritage with an educational treasure hunt.
Jenny Rutter, co-founder of RM Productions who are making the game, said they hoped history buffs could help set the questions.
She said: “Over many years of living and working here, most of us will have learnt some facts about Preston that we still find utterly fascinating. We’re hoping that this contest will encourage people to share those facts with others in an interesting, entertaining way.”
Entries can take the form of crossword clues, number puzzles, riddles, sound puzzles or straightforward Q&As. Anyone who has a question used in the game will be credited.
You can send your ideas for Preston history questions to jenny.rutter@guildkey.co.uk or post them to The Guild Key Project, RM Productions, Media Factory, 4th Floor, UCLAN, Corporation Street, Preston, PR1 2HE.
All entries must be in by Monday 30th April 2012 and the only restriction is all questions must have clear-cut factual answers.
