The newly refurbished Lancashire Archives will be hosting a fashion fair next month.

Archivist Kathryn Rooke said the Archives was the perfect venue to host the event.
She said: “We wanted to hold a Vintage Fair here at Lancashire Archives to bring together Lancashire’s passion for Vintage Fashion with it’s origins and histories; placing traders’ stalls alongside Lancashire’s wonderful archive and costume collections.
“Our Vintage Fair will mix traders selling all things vintage, alongside exhibitions of textile and fashion related archives, from Horrockses to Cotton Queens.”
The Harris Museum and other Lancashire Museums are loaning the Archives some historic Victorian dresses for the day.
The free event starts from 11am to 4pm. More information is available on the Lancashire Archives website.
