It’s time to start thinking about taking down the Christmas decorations and throwing out the tree.

Preston City Council are offering a free service to recycle your Christmas tree.

They will plant it in Ashton Park if it is still alive or it will be chipped and mulched for the trees in the plant.

The recycling event takes place on Sunday 8th January from 10am to 2pm at Ashton Park car park.

More information available from the Parks service on 01772 906 471.
