A touch of Cassablanca has come to Preston this weekend as a Moroccan craft market takes over the city centre.
Harris Street welcomes the market from Thursday 8th September until Saturday 10th September, running from 10am to 4pm every day.
40 stalls will be on offer selling traditional cotton clothing, lamps and silver.
There will also be food stands selling fruits, nuts and pastries.
Councillor Robert Boswell, cabinet member for community and environment, said: “Preston is a diverse city and there is always a real interest when authentic markets from around the world come to Preston.
“It’s a great opportunity to experience a Kasbah style atmosphere with traders using the traditional large colourful Moroccan Berber tents as stalls and dressed in Moroccan cultural dress.”
