Friendtrend, the social network for fashion that we’ve been following are on the verge of a public launch.
The team has now expanded to include a fourth member in the form of Tom Fitton, a programmer who is currently studying at UCLan, and they’re now looking for people to help test and give feedback on the first version of the site.
Speaking to founder Tony Smith, he said: “We’ve come a long way since the beginnings of the company in September, and with Tom joining the team it’s really great to have a collection of people all behind the same project.
“The public testing stage is vital to the future of Friendtrend.  You log in to the site, see what we’re about and then leave feedback”.
Smith hopes that allowing early users a chance to have a say in the way the site is run will allow the team to improve and personalise the site before their official launch later in the year. The testing period will be open to all early users, and you can keep track of developments at their Facebook Page.
“We don’t need a load of Yes Men, we want constructive criticism” says Smith.
We’ll keep you updated with Friendtrend’s development in the months to come.
