Preston City Council have changed the format of their neighbourhood working arrangements.

The Area Forums have come to an end (as of March 31st) and the council will instead hope to engage with residents with a smaller team of community engagement workers. Area forums will now be held around specific topics rather than more general engagement sessions like in the past.

The team assigned to community engagement consist of Neighbourhood Manager Jennifer Carthy and four Community Involvement workers. Their work will largely focus around environmental issues, young people, health and wellbeing, resident involvement and communications.

PACT meetings will continue to be held, and you can find information about meetings happening in your area at the Lancashire Constabulary website.

I’ve published a photo of the letter sent out to previous Area Forum attendees, as well as an easy-read version below (click full screen to enlarge).
