Phil Brown returns to his old club Hull City praying for a favour.

The Lilywhites find themselves 10 points adrift of safety, but with two games in hand over 20th place Crystal Palace, the fight for survival is still very much on.

Brown is still looking for his first win as North End boss, and has reportedly come down hard on his players since last week’s thrashing by Bristol City.

The gaffer had the team up early on Sunday morning, running along the Lancaster Canal as punishment and has taken the cues away from the training ground pool table.

The manager almost has a fully fit squad, bar the obvious injuries of Conor McLaughlin, who suffered a horrible injury last weekend, and Iain Hume who has a hamstring problem.
