Bumped into Sam and Dawn from Screaming Theatre today and beckoned them into the studios of Preston FM for a chat.

They were telling me about the preparations for this summer’s Tringe Festival which is shaping up to be very exciting indeed with twenty one acts already in the running. The acts range from drama, to comedy, to magic, music and physical theatre. It’s a real treat to have the Tringe in the city of Preston and the team at Screaming Theatre are working hard to pull off a fantastic week of shows. Sam and Dawn were keen to point out that the deadline for acts to submit ideas for the Tringe isn’t until 10th May 2010 so there is still time if you’re a secret stand up comedian, in a band and fancy a slot or have a show ready to go and want an audience. Last year they sold 700 tickets for the Tringe, so what you waiting for?
