‘Not in My Name’, a nationally acclaimed play tackling extremism, racial equality and cohesion is coming to Preston this week.
The Theatre Veritae production has been commissioned by Lancashire Constabulary as part of an ongoing campaign to increase young people’s understanding of religious extremism. Written and directed by Alice Bartlett it tells the story of a fictional terrorist attack in a small northern town, focussing on the aftermath, personal consequences, and the impact on the local community.
The performance will take place at St Johns Minster on Friday 26th February from 6-8pm. Tickets are free and available from Preston Tourist Information Centre.
