Santa Specials on Ribble Steam Railway

Santa SpecialsThe Ribble Steam Railway on Preston’s docks will be running a series of Santa Specials during December.

Trains will be running on the weekends of December 5/6, 12/13, 19/20 as well as on Monday 21st December and Tuesday 22nd December 2009.

Chris Mills, spokesperson for Ribble Steam Railway said:

One of the best features of our Santa Specials is after you have taken your booked seat on the train, Santa comes to visit you with individual presents suited to each age group.

Refreshments for all are available and the ride takes approximately 40 minutes. Carriages are steam heated in winter if needed.

Ribble Steam Railway is a heritage railway in Preston’s docklands, with a running line of 1.5 miles. The site is a museum housing one of the largest collections of industrial steam, diesel and electric locomotives in the country.
