Four Preston parks win award

Miller ParkFour of Preston’s parks have been given the Green Flag Award.


Avenham and Miller Parks, Grange Park, Fishwick Bottoms and Haslam Park were all singled out for their beauty, cleanliness and being recognised as a high quality green space.

The Green Flag Awards are an annual event that judge the quality of Britain’s green spaces.

The North West was the region with the highest number of green flags awarded, 225 in all.
