The long running celebration of all things Caribbean continues, rain or shine. It starts in Moor Park around 12 NOON and then processes down Deepdale Road, across the Ring Road and up Church Street through the City Centre. After a lap round the centre it cuts down Chapel Street to finish at Avenham Park where the party continues into the evening.

Expect some amazing costumes, great dancing and groovy beats.

Dian Flannigan, chair of the carnival organisers, says: “Our Carnival is open to people of all ages and is a platform for anyone who wishes to promote the essence of all that is positive about Caribbean Carnival and in particular local young people from the many communities, which make up Preston City.”
